This is only the second time Coles have run this offer. You’re basically getting 5% of what you spend on Bunnings gift cards returned to you in the form of Flybuys Dollars (or 5x Velocity points per dollar spent).
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 29 Oct to Tue 4 Nov 2025
- Only available in-store at Coles
- Limit of 10,000 points per day
- Limit of five gift cards per day
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
- Points are usually credited in 1-3 days
Note that you can only use these Bunnings gift cards in-store but you can apparently swap them for the new online-compatible gift cards according to this comment on OzBargain.

Yes you do get the 5x points with gift card purchases

The only Bunnings gift card denominations at Coles are $20, $50, $100 and $200. No variable load.

Just to clarify. Do you still get the extra 10x points if I buy the card between the date 29 Oct and 4 Nov but use it after 4 Nov? When is the expiry date, please?
You earn the 10x points for buying the gift cards, not spending them. Bunnings gift cards do not expire.
