Earn 10x Everyday Rewards points on $50 and $100 Vanilla Visa gift cards when you purchase them in-store at Woolworths between 19 Aug and 25 Aug 2026. Limit of five gift cards per day.
Unfortunately, this offer excludes the $25-500 variable load Visa gift card as well as the recently introduced $250 denomination.
Whilst the $25-500 cards have been excluded since the start of 2025, it was hoped that the new $250 denomination might be included in these 10x points offers as it would have finally made them worthwhile again.
As it stands, the $50 and $100 gift cards that are included will only earn you $2.50-5.00 in points but for that you have to pay a $5.95 purchase fee, meaning you lose money on each one.
By comparison, Coles just ran an offer on $100 Mastercard gift cards that awarded more than double the points for an even cheaper purchase fee.
For that reason, this offer should be entirely avoided.

Did Woolies run a 20x points offer on any of Mastercard/visa/eftpos giftcard this year at all?
No. The last decent offer they ran on prepaid Visa, Mastercard or Eftpos gift cards was in Dec 2024.

Would this offer be a good option in certain scenario? Say if I buy this to buy other giftcards with cashback?
There are no circumstances where this offer makes sense.
The only way this might be worthwhile is if you have a cashback on grocery from your credit card like the AMP offer but even then you are much better off spending on other things

You can but given the conversion fee it would make a bad deal even worse.
