Pay no purchase fee (normally $2.95) when you purchase Westfield Eftpos gift cards in-person at Westfield shopping centres.
To take advantage of this offer, you have to create a free Westfield account and scan the QR code at the concierge desk inside the shopping centre.
Westfield Eftpos gift cards can be spent almost anywhere physical Eftpos payments are accepted. They’re not just limited to the shops inside Westfield shopping centres.
Offers like this can help you to more easily meet a credit card minimum spend offer or to circumvent surcharges or restrictions on Visa, Mastercard or American Express payments (e.g. shopping at ALDI).
Thanks to J L on OzBargain for spotting this offer.

Can it be used to pay strata fee at Aus Post?
They blocked them from working at Australia Post in 2024.
Yep, and when I recently walked past a Westfield concierge desk, they had a sign up specifically saying Australia Post transactions are no longer allowed on Westfield gift cards.
What card denominations?
I believe you can load each card with any amount between $10 and $500.
Some questions:
– Can these be used to purchase gift cards at Woolies or Coles?
– Can these be added to Apple wallet?
Thanks!
1. At Coles, yes. At Woolworths, it can be used to purchase most gift cards (for example – Apple, Ultimate, TCN Her/Him/Restaurant, etc), but Woolworths’ checkouts will automatically reject it if you are purchasing some other gift cards (for example – Vanilla Mastercard, TCN eftpos, Everyday WISH, eBay, etc).
2. No. The concierge desk only sells physical Westfield eftpos gift cards, which can only be redeemed by physically swiping the gift card at an EFTPOS terminal. Westfield also does not allow you to exchange a physical Westfield gift card for a digital Westfield gift card.
can use visa gift card pay this card?
What about sniip and deft?
As per my comment above, the concierge desk only sells physical Westfield eftpos gift cards, which can only be redeemed by physically swiping the gift card at an EFTPOS terminal. In other words, these eftpos gift cards do not support online transactions.
Sniip is an online-only merchant, so you cannot use these gift cards.
DEFT has one in-person payment option (Australia Post), but Westfield blocked Australia Post transactions on these gift cards in early 2024.
Can I use this card at costco??
I don’t see why they wouldn’t work – provided you’re paying in-store and not online, of course.
