TCN Restaurant gift cards can be used at any restaurant or eating place. Officially, they exclude fast food outlets but for some reason if you convert your physical Restaurant gift card into a digital one via the TCN website then fast food outlets are supported.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 8 Jan to Tue 14 Jan 2025
- Only available in-store at Woolworths
- For TCN Restaurant, variable Deluxe and variable Hotel & Holiday gift cards, a limit of two cards per day
- For all other gift cards, a limit of ten per day
- You must scan an Everyday Rewards card to receive the discount
Holiday & Hotel gift cards aren’t recommended as they can only be used to book hotels via the gift card’s own website where you’re at the mercy of whatever prices they charge. Also, you can only use up to $500 of gift cards per booking.

Does the TCN Restaurant comes in variable load?
Just fixed value $50 and $100 cards I believe.
Can TCN pamper be used online?
Yes but most online merchants don’t allow you to split payments so if you have a $100 card and you’re trying to pay for something that totals say $120 then you may not be able to pay. When you’re paying in-person most businesses are happy to let you split payments across multiple cards.
Can restaurant card be used for gold class cinemas? Or cinema candy bar?
I don’t think so. Cinemas would almost certainly use the merchant category code 7832: Motion Picture Theatres which isn’t supported by the TCN Restaurant gift card. However, TCN also sell a Cinema gift card that does support 7832 and it’s often included in promotions just like this one.
would wws allow split payment on purchase of GC?
Yeah.
Yes. Split payments are really easy at Woolworths and they work on both regular and self-service checkouts.
Unfortunately not at Coles, there a gift card purchase needs to be in a single payment.
do any of these cards work at officeworks
No. There is, however, an offer on at Coles right now that includes Officeworks-compatible gift cards.
