Coles Mastercard gift cards can be spent almost anywhere Mastercard is accepted both in-store and online.
However, if you’re planning to use them to pay taxes you should know that they can no longer be used on the ATO website, although they may still work for phone payments.

- $5 fee on $100 Mastercard, $7 fee on $250 Mastercard

In addition to the 2,000 bonus points, you will also earn 1x Flybuys point per dollar spent. The $100 Mastercard gift cards earn the same 2,000 bonus points as the $250 cards so most people tend to just buy the $100s.
If you bought the maximum of five $100 Mastercard gift cards, you would earn a total of 10,525 Flybuys points that you could use to buy $50+ worth of groceries or convert to 5,000+ Velocity points.

Like I wanna buy 5 cards of $250. But for above $400 grocery card, the payment is not allowing in Coles.
It’s true. The exact limit isn’t clear but based on the reports I’ve seen you could probably buy one $250 gift card at a time with the Category Choice Groceries gift card but not any more than that.
If you’re planning to buy more with the same Groceries gift card or at the same checkout then you will likely have to wait at least ten minutes before doing so.

How could you know the catalogues in advance?
The information comes from a variety of sources. People may receive their catalogue deliveries early or a store may accidentally display the posters before an offer has begun. Sometimes I just get an anonymous tip.
Most likely just comes from someone who works at Australia Post and gets the catalogues a week early.

You have to factor in the surcharge as well (e.g $249.01 + 0.4% = $250 exactly)

Flybuys aren’t usually very forgiving but it might still be worth contacting them. Everyone is used to the specials starting on Wednesday so it’s a bit sneaky to suddenly change it to another day.
Checked a few Coles in my area and they haven’t replenished their stock for the $100 denoms. There’s a few $250 left.
I’m in Brisbane and coles does not have this advertised in store or catalogue. They have % discount on Choice cards. Just want to check before I purchase.
You’ll see it advertised in the Coles catalogue for Queensland. The 10% off TCN Choice gift cards ended on 24 Dec.
Local store only had the $250 cards in stock. Went to manned register to pay with Grocery Choice from Amazon promo. First transaction went through but second was blocked. Had thought this might only be a problem at self-service registers but apparently not. So went to Coles in next suburb and got a $250 card using the same Grocery Choice card, no problems this time. About 30 minutes between transactions.

Delays of a few days are normal, especially over the weekend. Chances are your points will credit tonight or tomorrow at around 5-6pm.
