Amazon have launched two new gift card offers:
- No purchase fee on $100 Activ Visa digital gift cards (normally a $4.95 fee applies)
- $10 Amazon promo credit when you spend $250 or more on Amazon gift cards and enter the code GCDAD10 at checkout (limited to the first 2,000 orders)
The Activ Visa offer isn’t especially interesting as it’s one of the most restrictive prepaid gift cards. For example, you can’t use it to pay the Australian Tax Office like with the Vanilla Visa and Mastercard gift cards.
The promo credit offer is decent but they have run better ones in the past. Effectively, it works out to be 3.85% off. The promo credit can be applied to future eligible orders you make on Amazon.

The Activ Visa offer is already expired.
replying to my own comment to clarify that the offer is still valid.
They initially posted it with the wrong dates so I can understand the confusion.
Just worked for me, had to go to final payment screen to show the $4.95 fee removed.
