Earn up to 10x Qantas points per dollar spent on selected gift cards on Qantas Marketplace:
- 3x points on Amazon gift cards
- 3x points on Airbnb gift cards
- 4x points on Accor Hotels gift cards
- 10x points on Autobarn gift cards
For Amazon and Airbnb 3x points was the standard earn rate up until a couple of months ago when Qantas lowered it to 1-2x points for all of the most popular gift cards.
If you pay for your Qantas Marketplace order using a Qantas Pay prepaid card you can earn an additional 1.25x Qantas points per dollar spent (even more with selected credit cards).
Accor gift cards are always available for 8% off on Macquarie Marketplace so buying them here only makes sense if you’re earning extra points from a credit card and could really do with the Qantas points.
You can also earn 4-5x points on dozens of other gift cards (e.g. the TCN range) but almost of them are the same gift cards that frequently earn 20x Everyday Rewards points (10x Qantas points) at Woolworths so they’re best avoided.
Make sure you only pay for these gift cards using money and not points. Sometimes the slider on Qantas Marketplace reverts to points so double check before you complete your purchase.
