This promotion isn’t worth it because they’ve once again chosen to exclude the $250 and $25-500 variable load Vanilla Visa gift card denominations.
If you buy the $50 and $100 denominations that are included, you will earn just $2.50-5.00 in points which is less than the $5.95 purchase fee on each Visa gift card. To put it simply, you lose money every time.
It is baffling that Woolworths continue to run such disappointing bonuses on prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards, especially since Coles are able to offer 1.5-2x the points on the very same products.

All it would take for these offers to move from dreadful to decent is the inclusion of the $250 denomination or, alternatively, upping the bonus on the $50 and $100 cards to 20x points.
After all, if Coles can do it, why not Woolworths? A few dozen complaints may just be enough to move the needle.
