This offer makes the most sense for those who have no interest in converting their Flybuys points to Velocity.
One thing to be aware of is that the Points Plus Pay option on the Flybuys store is shockingly bad value. It’s not immediately intuitive but they actually reduce the value of each point if you don’t have enough to cover the entire purchase.
A $100 gift card costs 20,000 points but if you only have 6,000 points then you’ll be required to pay an additional $87.50 by card, meaning you would effectively be spending $117.50 on a $100 gift card.

To qualify for this offer, sign into your Flybuys account and redeem your existing Flybuys points for selected gift cards from The Card Network, between Tue 5 May and Mon 11 May 2026. You will be eligible for 600 bonus points when you redeem for a $30 gift card, 1,000 bonus points when you redeem for a $50 gift card and 2,000 bonus points when you redeem for a $100 gift card from The Card Network.
