Earn 10x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on $50 and $100 Vanilla Visa gift cards when you buy them in-store at Woolworths between 3 Dec and 9 Dec 2025. Limit of five gift cards per day.
This promotion marks exactly a year since Woolworths last ran a decent offer on prepaid Visa, Mastercard or Eftpos gift cards.
Beginning in 2025, they made the bold decision to completely ruin these promotions by excluding the $25-500 variable load cards.
In all the 2024 offers, you could earn 5,000 Everyday Rewards points ($25 or 2,500 Qantas points) for a purchase fee of just $7.95 when you bought a gift card loaded with $500 – a cost per point of just 0.16 cents.
Now that only the $50 and $100 cards are included, you will at best earn just 500 Qantas points for a $5.95 purchase fee. At a cost per point of 0.6 cents that’s an almost 75% reduction in value.
2025 has been a year to forget for Everyday Rewards across the board but these gift card offers were a particularly bad casualty of their cost cutting measures. Let us hope that the new year brings some changes.
