Earn 10x Everyday Rewards points on $50 and $100 Vanilla Mastercard gift cards when you purchase them in-store at Woolworths between 16 Sep and 22 Sep 2026. Limit of five gift cards per day.
This promotion isn’t worthwhile because it excludes the $250 and $25-500 variable load Vanilla Mastercard denominations.
If you purchase the $50 and $100 cards that are included, you will only earn $2.50-5.00 in points but for that you have to pay a $5.95 purchase fee, meaning every one you buy will lose you at least $0.95.
Whilst the $25-500 Visa and Mastercard denominations have been absent from every 10x points offer Woolworths have run since the start of 2025, it’s both bizarre and disappointing that they’ve also chosen to exclude the newly introduced $250 card as it would have been a reasonable compromise.
As it stands, Coles are the only store still running compelling bonus offers on prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards.

For people with Amex, it might still be worthwhile if the reward is 2%+.
For a $100 purchase, you get $5+2.1(105.95*2%)=$7.1 for a $5.95 fee, and a Visa/Mastercard accepted at more places or lower surcharge.

In a way, the lacklustre offers are probably saving a bunch of people who would get them the stress of getting a tampered card
The $250 denomination is new to Woolworths, not new in general. Coles, Reddy Express, 7-Eleven etc have sold them for years.
