There’s a redemption limit of $500 worth of gift cards per booking so if your stay exceeds that amount then you won’t be able to pay for it entirely with gift cards. Also, there’s a fee of around 2% that you only see on the final payment page.
Even with these limitations there may be some circumstances where it could still be worthwhile using these gift cards. However, I personally wouldn’t bother with them unless they were at least 20% off.
