Thanks. Out of interest how come you didn’t have advance notice of this? Luckily I saw it just in time before I bought a GC for an ultimate retailer at a worse discount.
This promotion wasn’t advertised anywhere else, only the 10% off one was. Strangely, Coles did the same thing exactly a year ago.
Is it possible this offer is only available in certain states? My local Coles in NSW doesn’t have any signage for this promotion. Could someone please confirm whether it’s nationwide or region-specific? Thanks!
It’s a national promotion and even says so in small text on the poster. Not all stores put the posters up for these promotions.

Bought 5 cards yesterday but did not see the points. How long does it take to add?
1-3 days usually. Check at around 5-6pm as that’s when they credit each day.
I only got 500 points for 5x$100 ultimate him card. Will they credit more later?
It’s normal to only receive the standard points at first. Chances are the rest will be there Friday evening.
Limit 5 cards for each category? So I can purchase 5 him and 5 kids and get the bonus points?
If it is actually enforced, I doubt very much that the five card per day limit would be for each individual card type and not an overall limit.

Coles checkouts never let you buy more than five gift cards at a time but I did hear from one person that they received all the points despite buying ten gift cards across two transactions.
Still, I probably wouldn’t risk it because if for some reason the points don’t automatically credit you may have a hard time getting them manually credited if you bought more than five cards in a single day.
