Earn 10x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on $50 and $100 Vanilla Visa gift cards when you buy them in-store at Woolworths between 20 Aug and 26 Aug 2025. Limit of five gift cards per day.
This offer is not worth taking advantage of as it excludes the $25-500 Vanilla Visa gift cards. If you buy the $50 and $100 cards that are included, the tiny amount of points you earn won’t even offset the $5.95 purchase fees.
In 2024, every Woolworths offer on these prepaid gift cards included the variable load cards but this year all eight they’ve run have excluded them.
If they’re not willing to bring back the $25-500 cards, the least they could do is double the bonus points on the smaller cards like Coles recently did with their 2,000 points on $100 Mastercard gift cards offer.
As it stands, there is nothing worth buying here. Avarice should never be rewarded.

The fact that these offers keep coming up means some chumps are buying them 🙁
I’m not so sure. I like to keep an eye on the stock levels of these gift cards before and after the promotions run and they barely change at the stores in my area. With the offers last year, it was all but guaranteed that they’d sell out of variable load gift cards every single time.
Also, the fact that Coles recently brought back 2,000 points on their $100 and $250 Mastercard gift cards (produced by the same company as the prepaid cards at Woolworths) suggests that the smaller offers aren’t performing well.
More people are annoyed by the scams and thinking it is not worth the risk for the tinny bit of profit.
If they are not behind a staffed counter do not buy. I have been scammed 3 times. Woolworths were timely in refunding me. Coles is another story. Some took more than 4 months and I have 2x $250 I bought 2 weeks ago and they are still ” under investigation”.
