Earn 10x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on $50 and $100 TCN Eftpos gift cards when you buy them in-store at Woolworths between 23 Apr and 29 Apr 2025.
Unfortunately, Woolworths have once again chosen to exclude the variable load $20-500 TCN Eftpos gift card which is the only one worth buying after the purchase fees are factored in.
For example, if you buy the $50 and $100 cards that are included, you’re guaranteed to lose money because of the $5.95 and $6.95 purchase fees:
- $100 TCN Eftpos gift card ($6.95 fee) earns you 1,000 EDR points worth $5.00
- $50 TCN Eftpos gift card ($5.95 fee) earns you 500 EDR points worth $2.50
By contrast, offers in the past that included the $20-500 cards allowed you to earn up to $25 worth of points for a purchase fee of just $7.95.
For that reason, I strongly recommend avoiding this promotion.

The timestamp is accurate as you can see from this post on Facebook.
even worst than the coles 10x vanilla promo.
I think the days of variable load ($500) cards with 10/20x points or 2000 Flybuys or 10% discount are over. They know people like us just buy them and use them the same day… Only a few people buy the $50/$100 cards as gifts as the money stays on them for months or never used (which is the idea behind these cards)
You may be right. If you think about it, it always was kind of crazy that you could just buy money at a discount. Still, there’s always a chance the good offers will come back. After all, they were happy to run them basically every month for years on end so they can’t have been that unprofitable.
