A $5.95 purchase fee applies for each gift card. Each Flybuys account can buy up to five gift cards in total during the offer period.
This offer isn’t recommended because we usually see 1,500-2,000 bonus points on $100 prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards at Coles.
With just 1,000 points available this time, each $100 gift card will earn you $5.50 in points for a $5.95 purchase fee, meaning you lose money on every purchase.
By comparison, Coles ran a 2,000 points offer on $100 Mastercard gift cards in January that allowed you to earn $10.50 in points for an even cheaper purchase fee of just $5.00.
These 1,000 points bonuses just aren’t high enough to make it worthwhile. Even if you could really do with a few thousand extra points, we’d still suggest skipping this promotion.

As the link above shows, 22 Apr for Woolworths and 20 May for Coles. However, Woolworths haven’t run a decent offer on prepaid cards since 2024 and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Coles offer is much the same as this one.
