TCN Eftpos gift cards are prepaid open loop gift cards produced by The Card Network (TCN). TCN Eftpos gift cards not to be confused with TCN multi-retailer or TCN merchant category gift cards.
TCN Luxury Eftpos and TCN Merindah-Gunya Eftpos gift cards work identically to regular TCN Eftpos gift cards.

How to use TCN Eftpos gift cards
TCN Eftpos gift cards are sold in two formats: physical and digital. At the time of writing, digital TCN Eftpos gift cards are only available for purchase on websites owned by TCN (e.g. Card.Gift, Eftpos.Gift).
Digital TCN Eftpos gift cards can only be used by adding them to your mobile wallet (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay) and then tapping your phone in-person. They cannot be used online or over the phone.
Physical TCN Eftpos gift cards must be physically swiped in the payment terminal. You then press Savings and enter your card’s four digit PIN.
If you have a digital Eftpos gift card, you can track your balance and purchases in the TCN app. Currently, it’s not possible to add a physical TCN Eftpos gift card to the TCN app or your mobile wallet. To check the balance of a physical card, you need to use the dedicated website.
Denominations and fees
TCN Eftpos gift cards are sold in a variety of denominations, although not all stores carry the same ones:
- TCN Eftpos $30 ($3.95 fee)
- TCN Eftpos $50 ($5.95 fee)
- TCN Eftpos $100 ($5.95 fee)
- TCN Eftpos $200 ($7.95 fee)
- TCN Eftpos $400 ($9.95 fee)
- TCN Eftpos $20-500 ($7.95 fee).
- Digital TCN Eftpos $20-500 ($2.15 fee)
Digital TCN Eftpos gift cards can be purchased on the Card.Gift website for a fixed purchase fee of just $2.15, making them one of the best value prepaid open loop gift cards on the market.
Promotions
Woolworths used to run frequent 10x Everyday Rewards points offers on TCN Eftpos gift cards. This meant you could earn as much as $25 worth of points for a purchase fee of just $7.95 if you bought a $20-500 variable card loaded with the maximum of $500.
However, beginning in 2025 Woolworths have only run these 10x points offers on the fixed value $50 and $100 cards, meaning the number of bonus points you earn isn’t even enough to pay for the $5.95-6.95 card purchase fees.
