This offer, which runs alongside the one we announced last week, marks the first time since 2021 that Coles have offered 41x Flybuys points on a gift card that works at JB Hi-Fi.
Every $25 TCN Party gift card you buy earns you 1,025 Flybuys points (worth $5 or 500 Velocity points). On a points per dollar basis, that’s double what we usually see on these kinds of gift cards.
Here are the details:

- Only available in-store at Coles
- Selected denominations only
- Limit of five gift cards per Flybuys account
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
- Points usually arrive in 1-3 days
Included denominations are:
- TCN Party: $25, $40
- TCN Kids: $50
- TCN Teen: $50
- TCN Eftpos: $100 ($5.95 fee), $200 ($7.95 fee)
Whilst the offer on the TCN Party gift cards is unusually generous, the catch is that you can only buy five per Flybuys account so even if you do make use of your family members’ accounts you’re unlikely to be able to spend more than a few hundred dollars.
The $40 TCN Party gift cards are still above average value at 26x points per dollar but the $50 TCN Kids and Teen gift cards are nothing special at 21x points.
Definitely don’t buy the $100 and $200 TCN Eftpos gift cards as the 1,000 bonus points won’t even offset the $5.95-7.95 purchase fees on those ones.

Can we buy 5 party cards and 5 cinema cards on same day and still get point for both?
Yes, they’re two entirely separate offers.
Can you also buy 5 of $25 of party and 5 of $40 of party gift card separately, or does it count as part of the 5? Same with like 5 of $25 gift cards of party and $50 gift cards of Kid?
No, you can only earn the bonus points five times so if you buy five $25 Party gift cards you’re done.
I both 5 cinema cards and then same evening bought 4 eftops cards for work. Looks like only got 4000 points from eftpos cards and not from cinema card. Will wait another 24hrs and report if I get those points or not.
It’s normal for only some of the bonus points to come through on the first day.

I want to purchase something for $100 at JB Hi Fi can i use 4 x $25 Party GC in the same transaction online or only in store? Can i use a Special supermarket slayer card to purchase the party GC’s?
You can use unlimited TCN Party gift cards both in-store and online at JB Hi-Fi. For online shops you will first need to swap each one for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card via the TCN website.
As far as I know it’s still possible.
My Coles didnt have exact $25 Party gift card, only the variable load one $20-$500. I put $25 on this card, will that qualify for the 1000 flybuys?
The variable load cards aren’t included so you won’t receive the bonus points, unfortunately.
