If you spent the bare minimum of $250 it works out to be effectively 3.8% off which is okay for Amazon gift cards but not fantastic.
You can apply promo credits to future eligible orders you make on Amazon. They usually arrive minutes after your gift card purchase but can officially take up to two business days.
Note that you can only use one promo credit per transaction when spending them so if you have multiple on your account you can’t redeem them all at once.
Promotional credit will be automatically applied to your account within two (2) business days after your order is shipped (for physical gift cards) or the order being completed (for electronic gift cards). A confirmation email will be sent once the promotional code has been applied to your account. The first 2500 orders who enter the promotional code “GCJULY10” in the “redeem a Gift Card or Promotional Code” box at checkout when purchasing $250 or more in Amazon.com.au Gift Cards in a single transaction will receive a $10 promotional credit that can be used on a future eligible order (“Offer”). Offer is available between 12:01AM (AEST) on 17 July 2026 and 11:59PM (AEST) on 31 July 2026. Promotional credit will expire at 11:59PM (AEST) on 31 December 2026.
