Restaurant Choice gift cards are incredibly useful as they can be used at basically any restaurant, cafe or fast food outlet.
Uber gift cards can be used to pay for not just future orders and rides but also those made up to 30 days ago thanks to the switch payment hack.

Included denominations:
- Restaurant Choice: $100, $50-500 variable load
- Uber & Uber Eats: $50, $20-500 variable load
Some Coles stores carry $20-500 variable load Restaurant Choice gift cards instead of the $50-500 cards pictured above but they should still receive the discount.
The ‘five gift cards per customer’ purchase limit just means that you can’t buy more than five per transaction. Some Coles staff may let you do multiple transactions but most won’t so you often have to return another day or visit a different store.

Regarding the 5 per customer limit, is it 5 per transaction, or per Flybuy account?
Five per transaction, although Coles staff are usually unwilling to let you do multiple transactions back to back so often you have to visit another store or return another day.

In theory, you can purchase a maximum of 5 gift cards in one transaction at Coles. Their checkouts will return an error message if you scan more than 5 gift cards in one transaction.
Having said that, if you are spending $1,000 or more (after discounts) on gift cards in one transaction, a senior staff member (e.g. store manager, duty manager, service supervisor) will need to approve the transaction before the checkout takes payment from you. I am not sure how keen the manager or supervisor on duty at your local Coles would be with approving the purchase of $2,250 in Restaurant Choice gift cards (as an example). I am not saying that these kinds of high-value gift card purchases will always be stopped by staff, but be mindful that some managers and supervisors will be more cautious around gift card sales than others (especially with existence of gift card scams and the fact that a lot of staff do not understand how these gift cards work).
I tried to purchase 5 x $250 + ~$50 worth of groceries once, and was told the self checkout has a limit of $1300. So I had to put one of the GCs aside to put it through.
Also, if you scan more than 3 GC’s the self checkout will halt and tell the staff member to give you the ‘Are you being scammed’ flyer
For Restaurant Choice card, does any know if converted to digital version (e.g. added to Apple Pay), the physical card is no longer valid?
You can still use the physical card. TCN gift cards are the ones that become unusable when converted to digital.

The Restaurant Choice GC CAN BE ADDED TO multiple device so keep your physical card away from others even if you’ve added to your wallet, and discard it only after you’ve deleted the value
Thanks! The reason I am asking this question is the risk of tampering. As long as the physical gift card is still working after converting to the digital version, there is a higher chance that the physical gift card can be tampered first and then being spent quickly by someone before you even use it.
For what it’s worth, the last time they ran this offer back in January I don’t believe I saw a single report of fraudulent use. A year ago we did see several cases of it but it wasn’t nearly as widespread as with Apple gift cards, for example.
The packaging seems to be updated – now it’s tamper proof so hopefully it’ll be safe
Do restaurant/cafe choice cards also come up on x20 points deals?
Yes but only very rarely.
This card is hard to use. I tried several times but it failed to be added to my Apple wallet. Same issues for many people on Facebook.
How many have you tried to add? With Blackhawk Network gift cards you can sometimes only add one card to your Apple Wallet every 24 hours.
