You cannot:
- Use Shell gift cards at any service station like with the 7-Eleven Visa gift cards
- Use physical Shell gift cards to purchase other gift cards sold at Reddy/Coles Express but as recently as Feb 2026 it remains possible to do so with digital Shell gift cards
- Convert a physical Shell gift card into a digital one
Promotions
Offers on Shell gift cards such as 6% cashback used to be more common but are now quite rare. In late 2024 Zip offered an unprecedented 12% cashback on Shell gift cards but that has never been repeated.
