Earn 2% cashback in the form of Paylab Rewards when you buy Category Choice Groceries, Fuel, Tradie, Department Store, Health & Wellness and Pets & Vets gift cards in the Paylab app.
You can load between $50 and $200 onto each Category Choice gift card. If you bought $1,000 worth of Groceries gift cards, for example, you’d instantly receive $20 “cashback” which can then be used to buy more gift cards (you can’t withdraw it as cash).
The main advantage of this offer is that you can use the Groceries gift card to save even more when taking advantage of other gift card promotions at places like Coles or Costco.

You forget to mention about 1% card surcharge
There’s no longer a surcharge for Visas and Mastercards.
Try to Add to Apple Pay, always fail for no reason.
Can you add it on another device?
Hi there!
Just want to double-check. Am I correct in thinking that the Category Choice Health & Wellness gift card cannot be used at GP clinics? Since its supported merchant category codes are pharmacies (5912), barber/beauty shops (7230), spas, dentists, optometrists, hospitals, etc., but not medical clinics like general practitioners, it seems like it wouldn’t work for paying GP visits. Is that right?
Also, regarding the Category Choice Pets & Vets gift card: Although the title suggests it’s for pets and veterinary services, it does support MCC 6300 (Insurance Sales, Underwriting, and Premiums). So, am I thinking correctly that I could potentially use it to pay for private health insurance premiums (the kind of personal insurance for humans, not pet insurance)? Even though it’s titled ‘Pets & Vets’, the MCC suggests broader applicability. Does that mean it might work?
I could be wrong but I suspect GPs would use the code “8011: Doctors: not elsewhere classified” which isn’t listed as being supported by the Health & Wellness gift card. If you’ve previously spent money there you could try asking your bank what MCC was used for that specific transaction.
Correct. I just used one a couple of days ago to prepay my (human) health insurance. It’s possible that some providers won’t accept them but I know that at least some do.
Any idea about Bupa?
No longer available
Went to find it and it was gone. Hopefully will be back soon.
Looks like grocery has been changed for to 0%
What a pity. Thanks for letting me know.
It’s up but the grocery card is at 0% and the department is at 1%. The others are at 2%. It looks like department might be high on the paid membership but I can’t confirm without paying for the membership.
The Groceries gift card is showing as 3% for Premium members and 2.5% for the Department Store card. This deal was worth sharing when anyone could get at least 2% on the Groceries card but without that I don’t think there’s much appeal.
