Earn 1,000 Flybuys points when you buy $100 Vanilla Visa gift cards ($5.95 purchase fee) in-store at Coles between 16 Apr and 22 Apr 2025.

This is a terrible deal and a far cry from the usual 2,000 points offers on Mastercard gift cards that Coles has run over 30 times in recent years.

If you buy the $100 Vanilla Visa gift card in this promotion, you’ll pay a $5.95 purchase fee to earn 1,105 Flybuys points worth just $5.53. That means you’ll lose money after the purchase fee is factored in.

With the 2,000 points offers on $100 Mastercard gift cards they used to run, the purchase fee was just $5.00 and for that you earned $10.53 worth of points.

I’d strongly recommend avoiding this promotion. If none of us buy any, maybe they’ll see their error of their ways and increase the bonus points for future offers.
