ShopBack cashback: 4% on Amazon, 6% on Shell, 12% on Uber and 18-22% on Hoyts, Event and Shein gift cards

ShopBack have launched their Gift Card Frenzy promotion which includes some impressive cashback rates on selected gift cards:

• 4% cashback on Amazon gift cards
• 6% cashback on Shell digital gift cards
• 12% cashback on Uber Eats gift cards
• 18% cashback on Hoyts and Event cinemas gift cards
• 22% cashback on Shein gift cards

The standout offer here is probably 12% cashback on Uber Eats gift cards as it’s rare these days to see savings exceed 10% on these gift cards. You can use Uber Eats gift cards for rides as well as orders as your gift card balance works in both apps. Interestingly, you can even retroactively apply Uber gift cards to purchases you made up to 30 days ago!

For Hoyts gift cards, it’s worth pointing out that they’re currently 20% off via Hoyts directly. If you’re buying the Shein gift cards, I believe you can only use one at a time so you may want to keep that in mind if you’re placing a larger order.

Shell gift cards are interesting as they’ve successfully been used to buy Coles Group & Myer and prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift cards at Coles Express or Reddy Express service stations. However, Reddy Express are currently rolling out a new payment system and it remains to be seen whether this hack works on the new payment terminals.
