Checking the T&Cs of the standard spend X at Coles earn Y points, it’s silent on using gift cards to pay. Assume that means you can use gift cards and still get bonus points. Can anyone confirm?
Yes you do as it is a payment method not a discount. I always pay for my groceries with discounted gift cards
Flybuys points deals have worked for me when using gift cards as the payment method.
The deals just don’t work for gift card purchases (i.e. buying gift cards from Coles).

Yes, after an hour try and try again ( from the first step still 3 times payment cancel from nowhere) finally got my gift card. Just need to be very patient💆🏻♀️🙏
Hi, based on the comments above, sounds like this e-gift card can’t be used to pay for other gift cards, e.g. the Restaurant Choice gift card that is on promotion this week?
That’s right. Coles stopped allowing that back in 2023.
