The TCN Pamper gift card can be used at all sorts of places including hair salons and spas. It’s even been found to work at cosmetics retailers such as Mecca.
Whilst the TCN Restaurant is one of the better restaurant-themed gift cards, the Restaurant Choice gift card is even more versatile and it will be 10% off at Coles at the same time as this offer. Plus, the Restaurant Choice gift card is available in a variable load $50-500 denomination.
Event Cinemas gift cards (not pictured in Victorian catalogue image shown above but available in all states and territories bar VIC and TAS) aren’t recommended as they are often included in better offers where you can save 15-20%.
Similarly, the Holiday & Hotel gift card is usually included in several 15% off promotions each year and even then it’s hard to justify as you can only use it to book hotels via the gift card’s own website.

Officially, TCN Restaurant gift cards cannot be used at ‘5814: Fast Food Restaurants’ but for some reason this limitation does not seem to apply to the digital version. Hi on the TCN restaurant gift card vs the choice restaurant gift card. I know the TCN restaurant gift card is accepted at less places but converting it to a digital card makes it the same as the restaurant choice gift card?
It doesn’t make it the same exactly but it does mean that you can use it at fast food restaurants which is handy. The major benefit of the Restaurant Choice gift card is that it’s available in a variable load denomination and if you’ve used these gift cards before you’ll know how annoying it is to manage multiple smaller cards.
Correct me if I am doing something wrong. The only benefit I can see with TCN card is being able to register it which makes it work more readily for places like the Hungry Jacks app that annoyingly makes you get an OTP sometimes for a major purchase like $2. I have had a restaurant choice card work one day on the HJs app only for the same card to be refused when I tried to use it the next day.
