I’m genuinely baffled that this card sold out in a day. Like… who looked at a Father’s Day gift and thought, ‘Yes, Bras N Things, Natio, Sensori+, and T2 Tea – that screams DAD!’ Honestly, hats off to the marketing team behind this one – they’ve either lost the plot or they’re playing 4D chess we just don’t understand.
The Friday promotions they’ve been running a lot this year usually only last a day. It’s certainly odd to associate this particular gift card with Father’s Day, though.
If I had to guess I’d say that this is one of their most profitable Ultimate gift cards (due to the lack of popular retailers like Officeworks, JB Hi-Fi etc) so they can probably afford to discount them whenever they want. Perhaps it was between this and the Ultimate Beauty & Spa and they chose the least worst option.
