You can load up to $5,000 onto each gift card you buy. All payment methods except PayID are subject to a surcharge (e.g. 0.28% for Visa Debit cards).
Webjet will let you use up to 30 gift cards per booking so if you’re happy to buy multiple $200 gift cards then the current 10% cashback offer on ShopBack works out to be slightly better value, especially since ShopBack don’t surcharge card payments.
However, it’s possible you could do even better. In previous bonus value promotions on the Webjet website you could pay for the gift cards using a Webjet-compatible Ultimate gift card.
Assuming that hack still works, you could potentially use Ultimate gift cards you’ve purchased at a discount (e.g. 3% cashback on ShopBack) to end up with a total saving of over 10% even after you factor in the 0.28% surcharge.
