The Everyday Rewards and Flybuys points offers are particularly popular because you can convert those points to Qantas and Velocity points, respectively, which can be worth a lot if redeemed on business and first class reward flights.
No purchase fee on Eftpos gift cards at Coles
This week’s offer at Coles is no purchase fee on TCN Eftpos gift cards, available in-store from 3 Dec to 9 Dec 2025.
These no purchase fee offers are great for meeting minimum spends for credit card sign up bonuses or for circumventing surcharges that some retailers impose on Visa, Mastercard or American Express transactions (e.g. ALDI).

10x Everyday Rewards points on Visa gift cards at Woolworths
The Woolworths gift card offer for 3 Dec to 9 Dec 2025 is 10x Everyday Rewards points on $50 and $100 Vanilla Visa gift cards.
This offer isn’t recommended because it excludes the only denomination worth buying: the $25-500 Visa gift card. With the $50 and $100 cards you simply don’t earn enough points to offset the $5.95 purchase fees.

Which gift cards are usually included in these offers?

Gift cards frequently seen in these offers include Apple, Uber, DoorDash, Google Play, Rebel, BCF, Supercheap Auto as well as multi-retailer TCN and Ultimate gift cards that can be redeemed at dozens of different brands (e.g. JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Webjet etc).
What’s better? 10% off or 20x points?
There’s not a great deal of difference between them unless you’re converting your Everyday Rewards points to Qantas or your Flybuys points to Velocity. If you’re doing that then they could be worth a lot more or a lot less than 10% off depending on how you redeem them.
However, if you’re just using your Everyday Rewards or Flybuys points to save on your grocery shop then 20x points is effectively 9.09% off – worse than 10% off but only by a bit.
