TCN gift cards are sometimes targeted by scammers. Whilst TCN have fixed the vulnerability on their website and introduced more tamper-resistant packaging, it’s still a good idea to inspect each gift card for signs of tampering before you pay.
You should also try to spend them sooner rather than later and avoid giving them as gifts. If you do happen to buy a gift card that’s been fraudulently used, you are entitled to a refund but it’s often quite a tedious process.

Does the Shopback hack still work for converting TCN Good Food gift cards into the better Restaurant Choice cards?
It doesn’t work anymore, unfortunately.
The good food seems tighter than the restaurant choice when it comes to fast food MCCs. Any ideas where the pub and bar card sits compared to these 2?
You can compare the two here. The Good Food card is probably the better choice if only for the fact that it’s available in a $200 denomination.
Hi, first time user of the TNC Good food gift card. Can you use these ones at the same places listed for the TNC Restaurant Gift card? When I search places on the good food website it doesn’t list any for my area but the restaurant gift card has heaps of options in my area. Thanks
When it comes to restaurant gift cards, there are basically three tiers:
Tier 1: Restaurant Choice, Cafe Choice and TCN Restaurant: can be used at almost any restaurant including fast food.
Tier 2: TCN Good Food and TCN Pub & Bar: can be used at most restaurants but not anything categorised as fast food (fast food can also mean cafes, pizza places etc so it’s just not McDonald’s and that sort of thing).
Tier 3: Best Restaurants, Gift To Dine etc: only redeemable at specific restaurants that have chosen to partner with the gift card company.

How often/ usually when do Coles/WWS do 20x points on Restaurant/Cafe Choice every year? Need to stack up points instead of getting 10% discounts… Thx!
There were eight bonus points offers on Restaurant Choice or TCN Restaurant gift cards last year.
Coles and Woolworths will likely both run an offer on TCN Restaurant gift cards in March.

According to some comments on OzBargain it does, although it sounds like it’s a bit inconsistent.
If you get the Teen Card or the Baby Card, do the retailers actually enforce the strict list of shops? Or, could you get the Baby Card and use it at Adidas or JB Hifi?
There are some instances where they’ve been found to support other brands but not always. In mosts cases it won’t work.
