True Rewards swap gift cards are a series of multi-retailer gift cards produced by True Rewards that can be exchanged for selected other gift cards.

The For Gaming, For Her, For Him, For Kids and For Teens gift cards are sold in selected stores as “physical” gift cards but they are really just digital gift cards. The gift card you present at the checkout doesn’t contain any sensitive information as that is all printed on the receipt you receive after paying.

Finding out where you can use these gift cards is surprisingly difficult as the pages on the True Rewards website linked above don’t appear to be accurate.
Some True Rewards Swap gift cards seem to be limited to just a handful of specific brands but others may support a much wider range.
For example, True Rewards For Her and For Him gift cards we purchased at BP and Ampol Foodary on 12 Apr 2026 have the following options once saved to a True Rewards Wallet (popular choices highlighted in bold):

However, on a previous occasion a True Rewards For Gaming gift card we purchased from Ampol Foodary supported only half a dozen exchange options that were all gaming-related (e.g. JB Hi-Fi, Roblox etc).
Promotions
Aside from True Rewards Action, Indulge and Splurge gift cards which earn a modest 4% cashback as standard on ShopBack, these gift cards don’t appear to be included in promotions.
