The new Everyday Gifting store has launched in both the Everyday Rewards app and on the Everyday Rewards website, introducing significant improvements to the way members can purchase gift cards and enjoy promotions on them.
You can now buy gift cards using points
Everyday Rewards points can now be used to purchase gift cards on the Everyday Gifting store. Just like when you redeem points on groceries, every 2,000 points equals $10 off your purchase.
Flybuys members have long had the ability to convert their points into gift cards so it is great to see Everyday Rewards members finally being given a similar redemption option.
This also means members will no longer have to resort to hacks like buying something at Big W with their Everyday Rewards Dollars and then cancelling their order to receive refund in the form of WISH gift cards.
Bonus points are instantly credited
Under the old Woolworths Gift Cards system, bonus points were not immediately awarded after purchase like they are with the in-store offers at Woolworths.
On the new Everyday Gifting store, the bonus points (currently only 1x per dollar) for a $5 dollar Everyday WISH gift card purchase were credited instantly to my account upon payment.
With previous online bonus points offers, you had to wait weeks after the promotion finished for the points to be awarded and often they never arrived at all, forcing you to chase them up with the Everyday Rewards team.
The confusion and complaints that this caused is likely why Woolworths Gift Cards largely stopped running online points offers in recent years, instead choosing to focus mainly on upfront discounts (e.g. 10% off).

More gift card offers are coming
In an encouraging sign, the Everyday Gifting website states that members will be able to take advantage of “exclusive deals and bonus points offers” with examples including $20 off and 10x Everyday Rewards points.
The vast majority of in-store gift card promotions at Woolworths provide 20x Everyday Rewards points but the last time they ran an online 20x points offer was all the way back in May 2024 and that was the only second one that year.
Given that the new Everyday Gifting store is much more integrated with Everyday Rewards, it is likely that we’ll begin seeing more and more online bonus points offers on gift cards going forward.
Currently, the closest thing they have to an offer is a paltry 1x Everyday Rewards point per dollar spent on Woolworths Group gift cards but we can only surmise that they have something much better planned.
Which gift cards they stock
Previously, the Everyday Gifting store in the app carried only a small number of gift cards compared to the Woolworths Gift Cards website. Now, the larger range is available to users of both the app and website.
This includes Woolworths Group gift cards (e.g. Everyday WISH, Big W, Woolworths) plus over a hundred third-party gift cards such as Apple, eBay, Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash as well as multi-retailer Ultimate and TCN gift cards.
Absent from Everyday Gifting are any prepaid open loop Visa, Mastercard or Eftpos gift cards but this isn’t a surprise as they weren’t carried by the old Woolworths Gift Cards website either.
What happens to the Woolworths Gift Cards website?
The old Woolworths Gift Cards website is still currently accessible but only for a limited time. You have until 19 Oct 2025 to sign in and save any past orders as they won’t be migrated across to Everyday Gifting.
If you’ve purchased or received a Your Pick gift card, you won’t be able to swap it for another gift card between 30 Sep and 15 Oct 2025 as the swap functionality relies on the old Woolworths Gift Cards website to work.

So does that mean I should be able to swap yourPick giftcard after 15th Oct if I forgot to do it now?
You still have time to swap it. If you don’t do it by 30 Sep then you have to wait until 15 Oct but there’s nothing to suggest that that the process will be fundamentally different after that point.
How do you use points to pay for the gift cards? I can’t seem to find this option during the checkout process.
Have you chosen Automatic Savings as your rewards preference in the Everyday Rewards app? If not, the option to pay with your points won’t appear at checkout.
Yep, I tried it on my other accounts they all show up. Not sure what’s wrong with the first one. No big deal can just keep using it in store then. I am gonna miss BigW for good lol! Cheers.
Btw for BigW returns it is better to do it in store. I’ve had refund rejected by their team after a few refunds, so the edr$ was lost for good. Ridiculous. If you do it in store sometimes they are willing to just refund back to card instead.
